oxyGEN STL Marketing

oxyGEN STL Marketing:

As a marketing chair for OxyGEN-STL, Jason is responsible for handling communication between members of the OxyGEN-STL board and general members, as well as communicating upcoming events and other participation opportunities to the members of OxyGEN-STL.

Day to day: TDP-II, Software Engineer, Advanced Analytics

Jason is a Software Engineer in the Technology Development Program at AT&T, with his current rotation being on the Advanced Analytics team, where he has taken on the role as a database engineer, supporting analysts making models for various business operations and analytics needs. In his day-to-day role, he uses SQL, Python, Linux, Azure DevOps and Power BI to ensure the validity of data within commonly used databases, set up automated pipelines for new data, and create new views for users to use.

St. Louis oxyGEN – Treasurer 

St. Louis oxyGEN treasurer:

As treasurer for Saint Louis oxyGEN, I am responsible for keeping up-to-date records of event expenses and revenue fundraising. An additional part (and passion) of my role is leading the chapter in our fundraising efforts. This fall, we plan to host our first annual golf tournament with young professionals in the STL area to raise money for the scholarship.

Day to day: Returns Experience & Quality, Broadband Product Management

I lead the recovery program for Broadband devices within the Product organization. In this role, I work cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, finance, and care teams to streamline recovery efforts and optimize spend. Additionally, I work closely with our Mobility partners to leverage best practices, working towards a One AT&T experience for our customers.

St. Louis oxyGEN Vice President Responsibilities:

As the Vice President, it is my responsibility to step up whenever and wherever the president needs me to. I spend a lot of my time thinking up new events and ways to get more engagement in the organization and recently I took on the responsibility to look for volunteering opportunities for our chapter.

Day to day: Front End Developer, ECOMP Team

I work as a front end developer for the ECOMP Team. I primarily utilize angular JS, scss, and multiple api’s to design and create the front end of the applications that I work on. Recently I have been transforming a lot of the old applications from older software to newer software and giving the application a facelift during the transformation. I will be moving to ‘The Green Team’ for my next role where I will work on the ask&get website along with other front end initiatives.

oxyGEN Responsibilities:

As Interim Chief Programs Officer, I am responsible for developing and executing our programs from a national level. This includes making sure membership is engaged and active in the programs that oxyGEN supports. I engage with chapters, committee members, and company leaders to ensure programs promote excitement, community engagement, and push the status quo to keep membership growing. I will also lead the planning of our annual conference to make sure we attract, develop, and retain our membership. My goal is to bring innovative and interactive programs which will aid in lifting those around me so they can become the best versions of themselves.

My name is Tonie Martinez, and I’m located in Dallas, Texas. I am a proud Latina, born and raised in Laredo, Texas. I can speak, read, and write Spanish fluently and I am currently working on polishing up my French and learning Arabic.  Coming from a strong Mexican-American household, family is everything to me. I am the proud “favorite” fun-loving aunt to 1 niece (2 years old) and 3 nephews (ages 10, 3, and 2). I graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2019 and started my career  in the B2B Sales Development Program in 2021. Currently, I am responsible for owning the mobility relationships in Public Sector & enhancing revenues and profitability for the company by building rapport with government customers. I am flexible to working individually and in team environments and believe I add value to our teams by being an active listener and a catalyst for execution on team strategies. My passions include playing board games, traveling, photography, singing and listening to music, learning about different cultures, and going to the gym. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan, and you will most likely catch me singing her music at least once a day. I have a dog baby named Flabio, she is a 13-year-old Chihuahua. As the interim CMO, my primary focus is aligning to the oxyGEN basics: drive the development of innovative and inspirational leaders through resonating content and communications.  I am so excited to work with an amazing committee of social media, communications, and branding experts to cultivate the oxyGEN membership base, empower chapters to engage intentionally in their communities, and celebrate our successes to the broader AT&T community.

Day-to-Day: Senior Program Manager

My name is Meghan Barnes, and I currently live in Seattle, Washington. I started my career in Los Angeles as a participant in the 2010 Leadership Development Program after receiving my MBA in marketing and organizational development. Day-to-day, I am a Senior Program Manager directing Community & Social Investments aligned to our Connected Learning organization within the Corporate Responsibility team. I helped launch the Southern California chapter of oxyGEN in 2011 and then served as the Chief Marketing Officer on the national board from 2012-2014.  Prior to joining the Corporate Responsibility team I held positions in Network Planning and Engineering, and U-verse Marketing.  I have a pre-MBA professional background in hospitality and an undergraduate in Psychology. In my free time I love hiking, paddle boarding, wine tasting and playing chess or cribbage.  I also stay busy “proud aunt-ing” three curious and fabulous nephews as well as sitting on the board of a local nonprofit addressing childhood food insecurity.

oxyGEN Responsibilities:

As the Member Engagement Lead, I see member engagement is a two-way investment between an organization and its members. The organization’s most ardent supporters contribute time and passion, and the organization devotes energy to the member experience. For organizations, the goal of member engagement is to boost its members’ career by fun programs like speed networking and mentorship. To encourage engagement within the oxyGEN community,- I will invite members to special mailing lists or social media groups where they can share their thoughts with other members. A vibrant member community is a benefit in itself!

Day to day: Membership Engagement Lead, Advanced Technology & Systems

On a Daily basis for AT&T I am an Account Manager Level 3 in the Healthcare Division on the Global Team. My work responsibilities include building quotes, inputting orders, pulling inventories, creating contracts, managing ASE implementation projects, following up on orders and disconnects to meet daily and weekly schedules. I work with my CSE and SAL daily for the quality and consistency of my performance and ability to keep up with customer demands quickly and efficiently. Most recently I have created and presented an excellent image of AT&T and our services to Ascension, while providing feedback to my customer contacts during calls with updates on all TEMs on weekly calls. I also help implement an efficient work flow system that resulted in significant satisfaction from entire Ascension team; going the extra mile, attended off hours HotCuts for upgrades as well as managing PMs outside the weekly calls containing large projects.

As brand ambassador, I work to promote the oxyGEN ERG and brand. I work to create projects and publications to help spread the word about oxyGEN in the overall AT&T community. I also work closely with the entire marketing committee to conceptualize marketing campaigns, programs and strategies. Lastly, I am working to introduce two new campaigns and future avenues within AT&T to promote oxygen, while assisting to educate the AT&T community and outside community about all oxyGEN has to offer.

I am a Mobility Sales Executive for the National Business, Small Business Channels. I work with AT&T’s cutting-edge business products and services focusing on our mobility solutions. I generate new sales revenue within a  territory by making daily sales calls, networking, building relationships and identifying sales opportunities, growing and retaining AT&T accounts. I also partner with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized value-added solutions to solve their strategic business priorities.

Houston Chapter President

Houston Chapter President Responsibilities:

As chapter president, Eric manages as well as maintains the day-to-day operations of oxyGEN ERG in Houston, TX. He will also lead local operations meetings, and participate in other national meetings as needed and instructed by the CEO.

My piece of the AT&T Puzzle: Business Acquisition Manager

Eric is in now in his 22nd year of service with AT&T. Eric began his telecommunications career in 1999 with Houston Cellular, as a Retail Sales Consultant in Tomball, TX. In his time with AT&T, Eric has held multiple leadership positions within the Houston Retail Channel, but has also spent the past 5 years serving in the National Business Segment. Eric is currently serving as one of the Business Acquisition Sales Managers, located in South Texas.

In his previous two rotations, Eric has held the role of Business Acquisition Executive 2, and Business Account Executive, both in the National Business Channel. Eric has recently assumed the responsibilities of the Chapter President for the recently re-launched Houston oxyGEN chapter. Eric has been an active member of Oxygen since 2017, and is a native Houstonian. He loves volunteering and serving the Houston community, and has a deep-seated passion to for the development of our Oxygen members here in Houston.

Betsy Harmse

Chief of Staff

oxyGEN Responsibilities:

As a Chief of Staff, my primary focus is board development and management. This includes internal communications and management of the National oxyGEN board members, along with facilitating and keeping a record of our board meetings.  I am also in charge of building relationships with and managing both our Board of Advisors (usually AT&T officers) and Board of Directors (past national board members) who advise oxyGEN. I lead the annual election process for the National Board and supporting local chapter elections (along with the Regional Presidents and Regional Chiefs of Staff), and I’m responsible for updates to the organization’s bylaws and internal record keeping at the national level.

Day-to-Day: Principal Program Manager, AT&T HR Mergers & Acquisitions

I am a Principal Program Manager in HR Mergers & Acquisitions, and my team is engaged when there is a potential deal that will move employees between AT&T and another company, whether it’s an insourcing, outsourcing, acquisition or divestiture. I usually manage a portfolio of projects with multiple global clients from either Corporate Development, Supply Chain, and/or Sales Channel; and these projects are typically complex and span multiple business units and/or countries. I am responsible for end-to-end project management of the employee transition process, from the due diligence analysis needed to negotiate the employee terms in a new contract to the employee transition when their paycheck actually changes hands to the new company. I partner with a variety of stakeholders and SMEs across AT&T to try to make these transitions as smooth as possible and meet the needs of our business and our employees.

Chief Executive Officer (Interim)

oxyGEN Responsibilities:

As the chief executive officer, my main responsibility is to develop and execute the organization’s overall strategy. In addition to this, I also oversee our oxyGEN National Board and communicate with all stakeholders. My goal is to elevate oxyGEN by strengthening our operations,  honing in on our technology and marketing functions, and enriching the value that we provide our members. In the short-term, I will also be spearheading oxyGEN's marketing strategy. This includes designing all oxyGEN email communications, flyers, videos, and website materials. I also oversee our social media strategy and strive to build brand awareness around the community. In addition to this – I spend a lot of time brainstorming new ways to get the oxyGEN name out there and work closely with other members of the board to ensure that the oxyGEN brand and mission statement is interwoven throughout the fabric of all our programs and initiatives. Prior to serving as the interim CEO and Chief Marketing Officer,  I was the Chief of Staff from 2018-2019 and also carried various local chapter positions in New York City from 2017-2019.

Day-to-Day: Lead Content Marketing Strategist (Marketing Communications – Business Marketing)

I am a lead content marketing strategist in the Marketing and Growth Organization. I will be spearheading the content strategy for an internal website that strives to connect marketers across the overall business organization.  I collaborate with various teams to design and execute messaging that reflects the company's innovative marketing strategy. In addition to this, a large part of my role is to help foster collaboration and to create a space for people to share their knowledge and marketing expertise.

Michelle Murray-Carter

Chief Operating Officer (Interim)

oxyGEN Responsibilities: As Chief Operating Officer, Michelle is responsible for managing and supporting the oxyGEN chapters from the national level. This includes making sure membership is engaged and active in the programs that oxyGEN supports. Michelle regularly engages with chapter leaders and membership to guarantee that they are completing the goals and objectives for their locations. She works with two regional Presidents to help facilitate and manage the nine current chapter.
Day-to-Day: Senior Sales System Engineer 2 Fiber, National Business Solutions Michelle is a technical consultant to the North Carolina fiber team located in Raleigh, NC with a focus on fiber and internet solutions for small and medium businesses. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Senior Project Program Manager Call Center Strategy & Planning Jennifer is a member of the Call Center Strategy and Planning Team. She supports project and planning both for our Internal and External Call Centers to align with the initiatives for the future of AT&T. Key responsibilities include managing several projects at any giving time for both Call Center strategy and future planning. This includes working with many other teams throughout AT&T to remain on schedule. Works on innovating the future of the AT&T Call Center and Customer Service.

Day-to-Day: Account Executive, State, Local Government & Education My name is Alicia Pajda and I live in Atlanta, GA with my fiancé and sweet fur baby, Moo. In my current role as Professional – Data Analysis, I own executive reporting and analytics across the Service Delivery organization. I deliver detailed business insights on key metrics and areas of opportunity, driving improved end to end delivery experience, accelerated revenue, and cost savings. I joined AT&T in 2017 through the Technology Development Program, and have held various roles in business analytics, process improvement, data visualization, and project management. In my free time I enjoy running, reading, watching St. Louis Blues Hockey, and playing with my dog.
