A local board of advisors can be made up of leaders in the community and from AT&T. Most regions will have retail, technician and call center offices nearby. You can reach out to local business leaders to request involvement or to External affairs to find out how to get resources in your area.

Local chapter leaders can reach out to their regional president for help and advice. The regional president can connect them to local resources and national resources. Local chapters are also encouraged to establish their own local board of advisors made up of local leaders in the business and the community that can provide advice and

A group of ten AT&T employees within a region can petition the board to establish a Local Chapter or Outpost of oxyGEN. The petition should be submitted to the Chief Operations Officer and will be reviewed by the National Board. Once established, the Local Chapter or Outpost may organize itself in accordance with these bylaws.

All new Local Chapters will begin as Outposts (see next question). If a group of employees in a region are interested in forming a Chapter, they should first organize a 4-person board (President, Vice President, Chief of Staff and Treasurer) and then gather 100 signatures from their fellow AT&T employees in the region in addition

Chapters must maintain membership of at least 100 employees. Outposts are encouraged grow to membership of at least 100 employees by the end of the second year of existence.

Each Chapter/Outpost must execute a minimum of 6 events per year. The events must include at least two of the following categories of events: community service, networking, professional development, membership drive, or fundraising.
