2025 Kickoff Message from your CEO

Dear oxyGEN Members –

We hope your year is off to a great start! As 2025 kicks off, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our journey and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that lie before us. Our mission remains steadfast: to make the impossible possible. Our organization is uniquely positioned to achieve this, being a vibrant tapestry of individuals from all backgrounds, ages, and genders.

This year promises to be another transformational period for oxyGEN as we continue to build upon the remarkable successes of last year. A major highlight from last year was winning two prestigious awards at the Employee Group Conference, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Additionally, our Time to Talk and Disrupt Technology initiatives have continued to push the bounds and sparked important conversations in the mental health and technology spaces respectively.

Looking forward, we have an ambitious agenda to further our impact in sustainability, mental health, and technological breakthroughs.

· In April, we are planning to celebrate Earth Month through a series of sustainability events. The recent Los Angeles wildfires have underscored the urgency of our efforts to raise awareness of sustainable practices, and we are committed to making a tangible impact.

· Throughout the year we are also prioritizing mental health and wellbeing programs to equip our members with the tools to navigate the changing landscape, ensuring they feel supported and heard.

· Our focus on generative AI will continue to highlight its revolutionary impact not only at AT&T but also across industries. We will have programs to showcase its use cases in cybersecurity, marketing, and beyond.

We remain committed to invest in our future leaders through our scholarship program. This past year, we awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to 30 students attending a 2- or 4-year college program; however, this year we want to have an even greater impact!

I would also like to express my deep gratitude to our executive sponsors, chapter leaders, and committee members. Through their dedication, innovation, and engagement, they have continued to disrupt the status quo and help bridge the digital divide in the areas we live, work and play. Without their engagement with our members and communities, none of this would have been possible.
