Scholarship Program Purpose

Our scholarship recognizes student’s ability to demonstrate critical and creative thinking by effectively communicating the importance of a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) topic and their ability to make an impact in the field or community

Who is eligible?

Applicants are eligible if they enroll in an accredited U.S. undergraduate program for the 2026-2027 year, regardless of major. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  Applicants may include but are not limited to AT&T employees and their families

Timelines

The scholarship application window opens on February 1st, 2026 and will close by April 30th, 2026, 11:59 pm ET. This deadline will not be extended, and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants who meet all criteria, including AT&T employees and their families are encouraged to create their video essay and apply!

STEAM Video Guidelines

Create a 2–4-minute YouTube video on a STEAM topic of your choice. Ensure the video adheres to the rubric document and demonstrates your expertise and creativity on your chosen STEAM subject.

  • Applicants will receive an email by June 30, 2026 to let them know if they are a 2026 Scholarship Recipient
  • The minimum scholarship amount awarded is $1000
  • Scholarship fund will be paid directly to the college or university. Scholarship recipients will be asked to provide their student identification number and the address to their school’s Bursar office
